Terms & Conditions – Tiefenrausch Bali

1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions apply to all services and products provided by Tiefenrausch Bali Divecenter (hereinafter "Divecenter").

2. Registration and Contract
Booking is made in writing or via the online system. A contract is binding once the Divecenter confirms the booking and the deposit has been received.

3. Prerequisites (Certification & Health)

  • Documentation: Divers must present a valid certification card and logbook.

  • Health: A medical questionnaire must be completed truthfully. If pre-existing conditions exist, a "Fit to Dive" medical certificate (not older than 12 months) is mandatory.

  • Safety Check: We reserve the right to require a paid Check-Dive/Refresher if the last dive was more than 6-12 months ago.

4. Payment and Cancellation Policy

  • Deposit: A 25% deposit of the total amount is required for reservation.

  • Balance: The remaining balance must be paid before the first activity starts (Cash in IDR or Card + 3% service fee).

  • Cancellation for Fun Dives & Trips:

    • More than 48 hours before start: Full refund of deposit (minus bank fees).

    • 48 to 24 hours before start: The deposit (25%) is kept as a cancellation fee.

    • Less than 24 hours or No-Show: 100% of the price will be charged.

  • Cancellation for Courses (SSI / PADI with Online Theory):

    • Once access to the digital learning materials (Digital Kit) has been granted, the 25% deposit will be retained as a general cancellation fee in the event of cancellation by the customer to cover the costs of the personalized licenses.

    • Less than 24 hours or No-Show: 100% of the course price will be charged.

  • Illness: With a local medical certificate, we will attempt to reschedule or provide a voucher. Cash refunds are not guaranteed.

5. Rental Equipment
The customer is liable for loss or damage to rental equipment caused by gross negligence at replacement value.

6. Liability Waiver
Participation is at your own risk. The Divecenter accepts no liability for damage to personal electronics (cameras, housings) or loss of valuables, even if staff assisted in handling them.

7. Conduct and Environment
Instructions from staff must be followed. Touching or damaging marine life is strictly prohibited and may lead to exclusion without refund.

8. Force Majeure
In case of events beyond our control (volcanic eruptions, extreme weather, pandemics), no cash refunds are provided. We offer rescheduling or vouchers.

9. Data Protection
Data is used only for organization, certification, and legal reporting requirements in Indonesia.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Indonesian law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Bali.
